The McCluer South-Berkeley Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Parkway South 56-26.
Parker Wolf was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 19 points along with three steals. He set a new season high mark in blocks with two. Another player making a difference was Ryan Shanfeld, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
McCluer South-Berkeley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Parkway South, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
McCluer South-Berkeley will head out on the road to face off against Hazelwood East at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkway South won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Maplewood-Richmond Heights at 12:00 p.m. on December 28th.
