Padua Academy lost to the Ursuline Academy Raiders in the teams' previous meeting last December, but they didn't allow Ursuline Academy the same satisfaction this time around. Padua Academy managed a 56-51 win over Ursuline Academy on Saturday.
Padua Academy's victory brought them up to 11-5. The Raiders' loss pushed them down to 6-9.
Padua Academy will square off against St. Elizabeth next week. It should be a fierce showdown as Padua Academy is ranked sixth in the MaxPreps state rankings and St. Elizabeth is ranked fourth. The Raiders are on the road again on Wednesday and play against Sanford. Ursuline Academy will really need to gear up for this challenge, as Sanford will be their toughest opponent yet.
