The Colton-Pierrepont Colts lost against the Chateaugay Bulldogs back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Colton-Pierrepont took a hard 50-32 fall against Chateaugay. Colton-Pierrepont was down 43-23 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the loss, Colton-Pierrepont still got an impressive performance from Eric Friedel, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Friedel has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Ethan Van Brocklin was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Colton-Pierrepont's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Chateaugay, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colton-Pierrepont won't have much time to rest: their next match is against St. Regis Falls at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th. Colton-Pierrepont is facing St. Regis Falls at the right time seeing as St. Regis Falls is stuck on a eight-game losing streak. As for Chateaugay, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. Lawrence Central at 7:15 p.m.
