Glen Rose will take on Iowa Park in each of the teams' third playoff contest on Friday. Both of these red-hot teams will try to put the other on ice to keep their winning streaks alive.
Glen Rose made easy work of Pecos last Friday and carried off a 63-42 victory. Austin Worthen had a dynamite game for the Tigers; he rushed for 145 yards and four TDs on 15 carries. That makes it ten straight good games from Worthen. Not surprisingly, Worthen's sharp performance set his single-game rushing touchdown high for the season.
Meanwhile, Iowa Park earned some more postseason success in their game last week. They enjoyed a cozy 42-23 win over Dalhart.
It was close but no cigar for Glen Rose as they fell 31-28 to Iowa Park when the two teams last met in last December. The defeat knocked Glen Rose out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Iowa Park with a vengeful fire.
