 Fairview's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Jake Harper, who rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown, and   Kolt Redding, who rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, Leeds won against Pelham  back in October with 35  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Friday. Leeds walked away with  a   35-28  victory over Guntersville. That's two games straight that the Greenwave have won by  exactly seven  points.
  Conner Nelson was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 176 yards and four touchdowns, while also throwing for 153 yards and a touchdown while completing 87.5% of his passes. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.  Taylon Gaiter was  Nelson's top target, picking up 138 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Leeds was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 265  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 173  rushing yards in five consecutive  matchups.
 Leeds' win was  their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 37.8 points per game. As for Fairview, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.
