Softball Recap: Patterson Mill Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Patterson Mill was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Harford Tech on Thursday. Patterson Mill was the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over Harford Tech. Patterson Mill might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by eight runs or more this season.

Amanda Redmiles spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cadence Pfistner, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Reedy, who scored two runs and stole two bases.

Pfistner wasn't the only one making solid contact: Patterson Mill kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Patterson Mill pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average this season. As for Harford Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
