Geneva can attribute much of their success to Erika Torres, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 boards, and Bella Johnson, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten assists. Those ten assists gave Johnson a new career-high. Baylee Conner was another key player, putting up 15 points.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Geneva was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rehobeth only posted three.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, New Brockton beat Houston Academy 43-39 on Monday.
Geneva's record now sits at 2-0. As for New Brockton, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
