The South Rowan Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Rowan Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. South Rowan is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
Last Friday, things could have been worse for South Rowan, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-36 loss to the Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, South Rowan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 75th).
Kynlee Dextraze put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Dabrianna Pharr, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, East Rowan pushed their score all the way to 59 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 72-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Robinson. East Rowan has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
South Rowan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for East Rowan, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
