Even though the Anson Bearcats scored an imposing 65 points on Thursday, the Parkwood Wolf Pack still came out on top. Parkwood walked away with  a   74-65  win over Anson. The  victory was familiar territory for Parkwood who now have three in a row.
 Parkwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Cameron McKinney led the charge by  dropping  a double-double on 19 points and 13  rebounds. McKinney has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's  played.  Malik Paulhill was another key contributor,  scoring 25 points.
 Anson's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Jayden Little, who  scored 22 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals, and  Ryan Robinson who  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals. That was a full 33.8% of Anson's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaqualin Liles, who  scored 11 points along with seven  rebounds.
 Parkwood has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Anson, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost five of their last six games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.
 Parkwood will be playing at home against Monroe at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Anson, they will head out on the road to  challenge  West Stanly at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
