Swain County will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Hayesville extended their winning streak to ten on Friday. The Yellowjackets put the hurt on Hiwassee Dam with a sharp 15-1 win.

The team relied heavily on Adrian Fuentes, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landon Cheeks, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hayesville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Swain County got the win against Rosman on Friday by a conclusive 12-1. The victory continues a trend for the Maroon Devils in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.
Will Holden made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Holden was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and three runs.
In other batting news, Trent Jones was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Noah Shuler was another key player, earning three RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.
Hayesville's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Swain County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Hayesville has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. However, it's not like Swain County struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
