Pine Island won the last time they faced Dover-Eyota and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pine Island Panthers breezed past the Dover-Eyota Eagles to the tune of 85-44. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 48-23.

Mat Matejka and Luke Meyers certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Matejka posted 13 points, while Meyers earned 13 points.

The win made it two in a row for Pine Island and bumps their season record up to 15-10.
