Even though the Brooklyn Center Centaurs scored an imposing 69 points on Monday, the Roosevelt Teddies still came out on top. Roosevelt secured a 73-69 W over Brooklyn Center. The win made it back-to-back wins for Roosevelt.
Roosevelt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Calvin Peterson led the charge by scoring 25 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Wells, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Brooklyn Center, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
