The Leesville Road Pride will venture away from home to face off against the Corinth Holders Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Leesville Road's defense has only allowed 11.4 points per game this season, so Corinth Holders' offense will have their work cut out for them.
Leesville Road will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any points last Friday, then bounced right back against Enloe on Friday. Leesville Road's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Damacio Cueto, who threw for 248 yards and three TDs while completing 92.9% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave Cueto a new career-high in passer rating (171.1). Akshar Barnes was another key rusher, rushing for 85 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries.

Meanwhile, Corinth Holders didn't have too much trouble with Athens Drive on Friday as they won 30-13. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 273rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Leesville Road better keep an eye on David Jarman. He was instrumental in Corinth Holders' win, throwing for 125 yards and two touchdowns.
Leesville Road pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.8 points on average over those games. As for Corinth Holders, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
