The Crean Lutheran Saints had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past Hart with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 37-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Crean Lutheran.
Justin Dominguez had a dynamite game for Crean Lutheran, rushing for 192 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Dominguez was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards. Taurian Nash was another major influence, as he rushed for 68 yards and ran in a TD.
Despite the defeat, Hart had strong showings from Chris Clauss, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and Shawn Irwin, who picked up 155 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Crean Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Hart, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.
