Burroughs is hoping to do what Arcadia couldn't on Thursday: put an end to Muir's winning streak, which now stands at four games. Muir blew past Arcadia 49-3 on the road. It was another big night for Matteo Tarca, who rushed for 217 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Mingus Allen, who threw for 172 yards and three touchdowns.
Muir's record now sits at 4-2. As for Burroughs, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
