They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Nederland 65-22 at home. With Crosby ahead 33-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Leading Crosby to victory were Emori LaSalle and Lamaya Clark. LaSalle scored 13 points along with three steals, while Clark scored 11 points along with eight steals. The match was LaSalle's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Katie Daniels, who scored six points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Crosby pushed their record up to 13-10 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Nederland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-22.
Crosby will head out on the road to face off against Goose Creek Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Goose Creek Memorial has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Nederland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Non Varsity Opponent at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
