The King George Foxes can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Spotsylvania 63-31 at home. King George pushed the score to 47-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights had little chance of recovering from.
King George was led to victory by Eli Trulow and Aiden Wright. Trulow scored 16 points, while Wright scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wright has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Xavier Pryor, who scored seven points along with two steals.
King George's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15. As for Spotsylvania, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Chancellor the next time they take the court. Spotsylvania will head out to face Chancellor at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while King George will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
