After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oldham-Ramona/R, the Elkton/Lake Benton Elks were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They secured a 48-43 W over Great Plains Lutheran. That's another feather in the cap for Elkton/Lake Benton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Great Plains Lutheran lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Olivia Holmen, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Madeline Prahl, who scored nine points along with two steals.
