 Anna Novak made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 4-for-4.
