Lake View are packing up and hiking across state lines for their game on Friday. , they are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against South Robeson at 7:30 PM. Lake View have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Lake View were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Johnsonville 43-0. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 21-0.
Meanwhile, South Robeson had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. It was close but no cigar for South Robeson as they fell 20-22 to Union last week. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the rankings mixed up the winning team.
Lake View's win lifted them to 1-1 while South Robeson's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Lake View can add another positive mark to their record or if South Robeson can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Lake View's step.
