Alysia Mike was Pinon's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Mike also led the team in rebounds with ten.
Pinon has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Valley, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pinon will take on Greyhills Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greyhills Academy is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Round Valley at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Round Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Monday.
