The College Park Cavaliers lost against the Conroe Tigers back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. College Park suffered a tough 49-28 defeat at the hands of Conroe.
College Park's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cole Snodgrass, who picked up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a rushing score. Snodgrass was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield for a catch that went for 66 yards. Conner Dunphy was another key contributor, picking up 105 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Even if they lost, College Park's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Emiliano Molinar was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
College Park bumped their record down to 4-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. The slump could be explained by some tough opposition over that stretch, namely Conroe, Oak Ridge, and Willis. As for Conroe, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.
College Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Conroe will square off against Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Westfield is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
