Imagine Prep got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaiona Allen out in front who scored 23 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Chacon, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
West Phoenix bumped their record down to 2-9 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.9 points per game. As for Imagine Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
West Phoenix will be playing at home against Western SciTech at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Western SciTech is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Imagine Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against BASIS - Peoria at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. BASIS - Peoria is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
