The Greene County Wildcats won the last time they faced the North Forrest Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. Greene County was the clear victor by a 43-23 margin over North Forrest.
Greene County was led to victory by Rakhiya Moody and Zamiah Knight. Moody scored 12 points, while Knight scored 14 points along with six steals. The matchup was Moody's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kam Lawrence, who scored eight points.
Greene County's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for North Forrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Greene County will be home for the holidays to greet Moss Point at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Moss Point's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Greene County's offense will have their work cut out for Greene County. North Forrest is on the road again on Tuesday and play against South Jones at 4:00 p.m. on December 19th. South Jones is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
