Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, the Arete Prep CHARGERS couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rattlers on Wednesday. Arete Prep has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
They hit Crismon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Anna Rossing,
Marissa Morales, and
Rebekkah Garver.
Arete Prep dropped their record down to 12-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Crismon, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-2.
Arete Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crismon, they will head out on the road to challenge Gilbert Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Crismon has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 86 goals over their last nine games.
