They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Spartans. The Barons haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Mea Redcay made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Makenna Hess was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Rilee Bender was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Manheim Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Garden Spot only posted an OBP of .375.
Manheim Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Cocalico, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
