Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwestern). Everything went their way against the Cathedral Prep Ramblers on Monday as they made off with a 19-4 win. Considering the Wildcats have won nine contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Northwestern's eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Cathedral Prep, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Northwestern has already played their next match, a 15-0 victory against North East on the 13th. As for Cathedral Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 win against Conneaut Area on the 13th.
