Ironwood Ridge faced Mesquite in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Nighthawks' pitchers stepped up to hand the Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Nighthawks, who have now won 12 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.
