Edmund Burke Academy Gets a Boost from Redd in 28-23 Loss
Starting off the list is Edmund Burke Academy's Owen Redd, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Redd picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown.
Redd must have Brentwood's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Redd last faced the War Eagles back in October of 2023, he picked up 152 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Zach Denton Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Brentwood picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Zach Denton. Denton was excellent, rushing for 120 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101.3) per game.
Brentwood pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Denton and Brentwood will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Augusta Prep Day at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.

Keeping Denton company is Tristan Robinson, a fellow Brentwood player. He rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 52 receiving yards.

Aden Hickman Makes It Two for Edmund Burke Academy
