Volleyball Recap: Legacy Snags 12th Win in Last 15 Games

There's no place like home for Legacy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Durango Trailblazers on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

The victory didn't come easy: Durango scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 15-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Isaiah Moore paced Legacy's offense, picking up eight kills. Moore really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with 13. Isaac Schultz controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Durango lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Zadus Pascual, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Legacy has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Durango, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-15.

Coming up, Legacy will head out to face off against Doral Academy Red Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Durango, they will be playing at home against Spring Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trailblazers are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
