Waynesburg Central put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Seton LaSalle Rebels as they made off with a 14-5 victory. Considering the Raiders have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Waynesburg Central got a big performance out of Jake Stephenson, who scored two runs while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Turcheck, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Stephenson wasn't the only one making solid contact: Waynesburg Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 14 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Waynesburg Central's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Seton LaSalle, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waynesburg Central will welcome Belle Vernon at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seton LaSalle, they will square off against Charleroi at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rebels are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
