Given Los Gatos' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while Los Altos is ranked 487th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Los Gatos' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nolan G. koch, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Scotty Brennan, who scored ten points along with five assists and five steals.
Los Gatos is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Los Altos, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.
Los Gatos will be playing in front of their home fans against Milpitas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milpitas is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games. As for Los Altos, they will head out on the road to face off against Wilcox at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
