The Culver Academies Eagles are taking a road trip to face off against the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Culver Academies knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully North Judson-San Pierre likes a good challenge.
On Saturday, Culver Academies made easy work of Triton and carried off a 17-1 win. Considering the Eagles have won 12 contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Jak Chaney looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Culver Academies kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, North Judson-San Pierre was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell 6-2 to Culver Community.
Douglas Reed made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Culver Academies' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Culver Academies hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .400. However, it's not like North Judson-San Pierre struggles in that department as they've averaged .351. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Culver Academies' way against North Judson-San Pierre when the teams last played back in May of 2023, as Culver Academies made off with a 15-4 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bluejays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
