The Layton Lancers will square off against the Farmington Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Layton nor Davis made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Lancers fell just short of the Darts by a score of 7-6. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Andres Cedeno was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
