It was a good run, but the Wooster Colts unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They were beaten by South Tahoe 60-27. Wooster has struggled against the Vikings recently, as their game on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Wooster still got an impressive performance from Khloe Glover, who scored 15 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Tahoe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samantha Robinson, who scored 13 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Robinson has scored all season. Campbell Mathews was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Wooster's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-11. As for South Tahoe, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wooster will take on the Railroaders at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sparks comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for South Tahoe, they will head out on the road to challenge the Wolverines at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Truckee is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
