The Wray Eagles entered their tilt with the Akron Rams with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went Wray's way against Akron on Friday as Wray made off with a  65-44 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  win Wray has posted  yet this season.
 Wray had a senior duo take command as  AB Ruiz  scored 18 points along with seven  rebounds and two  blocks and  Rafael Trejo  scored 16 points along with five  rebounds and two  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Ruiz has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alex Trejo, who  scored seven points.
 Several Rams players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Ryan Mccaffrey, who  scored 16 points along with nine  rebounds.  Anderson Filla was another key contributor,  scoring 15 points.
 Wray is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Akron, they now  have a losing record at 4-5.
 Wray won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Denver Christian at 3:00  p.m.  on January 13th. Denver Christian will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Akron, Akron and Fleming will face off  at 4:00  p.m.  on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Fleming is hoping to put an end to  a three-game streak of away losses.
