Potlatch is 8-2 against Genesee since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Potlatch Loggers will head out on the road to take on the Genesee Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Genesee took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Potlatch, who comes in off a win.
Potlatch can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Clearwater Valley as Potlatch made off with a 69-47 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Potlatch has posted against Clearwater Valley since January 11, 2020.
Meanwhile, Genesee's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Lapwai 105-43. Genesee has struggled against Lapwai recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Genesee got a solid performance out of Seth Vestal, who scored 15 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Potlatch and bumps their season record up to 12-1. As for Genesee, their loss was their tenth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-14.
Everything came up roses for Potlatch against Genesee in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 62-31 victory. With Potlatch ahead 45-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
