The Fullerton Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Elba, posting a 79-21 win at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Fullerton has managed all season.
Fullerton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kane Wetovick, who scored 16 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Wetovick hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. Nolan Dubas was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with five steals.
Fullerton's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Elba, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fullerton will square off against Lutheran-Northeast on Thursday. Lutheran-Northeast presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fullerton in Nebraska (Lutheran-Northeast is ranked 50th, while Fullerton is ranked 200th). Elba will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Harvard at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Harvard is on a five-game streak of home losses, Elba a nine-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
