The Tecumseh Arrows were the 38-25 winner over the Bellefontaine Chieftains when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Tecumseh took a 44-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bellefontaine. Tecumseh has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bellefontaine was led to victory by Quinlan Zedeker and Lexi Robinson. Zedeker scored 14 points along with three steals, while Robinson scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Tiffany Boop was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Tecumseh has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Bellefontaine, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tecumseh's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northmont at 7:15 p.m. on January 22nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Northmont is ranked 402nd, while Tecumseh is ranked 378th). As for Bellefontaine, they will head out on the road to square off against Wapakoneta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
