The Legacy Longhorns had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.9 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 74-51 margin over Shadow Ridge. For Legacy, this counts as revenge for the 60-54 loss Shadow Ridge walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Legacy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Duke led the charge by scoring 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Duke has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Maven-Bell Toleafoa, who scored 14 points.
Legacy is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. As for Shadow Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
