Meanwhile, Genoa Christian Academy entered their tilt with Liberty Christian Academy with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Genoa Christian Academy enjoyed a cozy 45-29 victory over Liberty Christian Academy on Thursday. Genoa Christian Academy pushed the score to 38-18 by the end of the third, a deficit Liberty Christian Academy cut but never quite recovered from.
Genoa Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Jackson Kirura, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Zane Groves was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Patriot Prep Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Genoa Christian Academy, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-6.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Patriot Prep Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Genoa Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 20.6 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
