3A District 5 recap September 17, 2013
Jared Fink of Dewey ran for the longest rushing play in 3A District 5 this season against Pawhuska last week. Fink ran for 55 yards on the play and finished with 240 on the day as his team defeated the Huskies.
Dewey and Pawhuska played the most contested game in the league this week, with Dewey eventually emerging with a 30-26 victory. Fink in the win.
Fink was the best running back in the league this week. Teammate Chase Carver added to the ground attack by rushing for 59 yards.
Caysen Brownwolf was the best wideout in 3A District 5 this week as Chris Revard's team bested Bob Craig's team. Brownwolf racked up 4 receptions for 58 yards.
Fink was a force in the backfield as the Bulldoggers beat the Huskies.
TY WALKER put up the best numbers in passing as Berryhill bested Webster. He finished with a total of 17 completions for 179 yards and 2 touchdowns. WALKER's favorite target this week was BRAYDEN BRADSHAW, who caught 5 passes for 55 yards.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Brownwolf. The Dewey star has 5 catches for 78 yards.
Metro Christian took down Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
