On Monday, Hoover kept a clean sheet against San Ysidro. They walked away with a 2-0 win over San Ysidro. The result kept Hoover happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 8th.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Diego Viveros and
Angel Cabrera, who scored.
Hoover has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7-2 record this season. As for San Ysidro, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoover will take on San Diego at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. San Diego will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. San Ysidro on the road again on Friday and play against Southwest SD at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
