The Englewood Rams and the ED White Commanders squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Englewood Rams had to settle for second. They took a serious blow against the Commanders, falling 67-33. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Englewood in their matchups with ED White: they've now lost five in a row.
ED White was led to victory by Elijah Sublett and Jamal Scott. Sublett scored nine points along with six steals, while Scott scored 25 points along with two steals. Sublett is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jacorri Lavoile, who scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Englewood has been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season. As for ED White, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-12.
Englewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. ED White will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Stanton at 5:30 p.m. on February 8th. Hopefully ED White focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
