Halifax Academy is 7-0 against Beacon of Hope Christian since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Halifax Academy Knights will get right back to it and host the Beacon of Hope Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Halifax Academy will be looking to keep their nine-game home win streak alive.
Even though Bridge to Independence scored an imposing 63 points on Monday, Halifax Academy still came out on top. Halifax Academy took down Bridge to Independence 81-63.
Meanwhile, Beacon of Hope Christian pushed their score all the way to 80 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 94-80 fall against Zarephath Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game two weeks ago (77), Beacon of Hope Christian still had to take the loss.
Despite the defeat, Beacon of Hope Christian saw an underclassman step up: Trisdan Fuller scored 41 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fuller has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Marquis Sams, who scored 20 points.
Halifax Academy's victory bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Beacon of Hope Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Everything went Halifax Academy's way against Beacon of Hope Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as Halifax Academy made off with a 65-44 win.
