The Bradford Tornadoes put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Suwannee, posting a 35-3 win at home. The result was nothing new for Bradford, who have now won seven games by 25 points or more so far this season.
Bradford's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brian Cliffin iii led the charge by rushing for 69 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Dae'jon ?6ixx? shanks, who rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Bradford pushed their record up to 11-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 8-3 Eastside and 7-3 Baker County (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 61.8% over those games). As for Suwannee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
Bradford has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. Atlantic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 340th, while Bradford is ranked 48th). As for Suwannee, they will head out on the road to face off against Pensacola Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pensacola Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Suwannee likes a good challenge.
