After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Panama, Pocola was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Whitesboro Bulldogs a 12-0 shutout. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Pocola and bumps their season record up to 7-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Whitesboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Pocola has already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Talihina on the 9th. As for Whitesboro, they will face off against Braggs at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
