Basketball Recap: Hamilton/Warsaw Piles Up the Points Against West Prairie

Hamilton/Warsaw won the last time they faced West Prairie and things went their way on Saturday too. The Titans claimed a resounding 62-23 victory over the Cyclones. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Hamilton/Warsaw's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jadyn Climer, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine steals. That's the most steals Climer has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maci Haas, who earned 15 points and six steals.

Hamilton/Warsaw was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Prairie only posted three.

West Prairie's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kara Stephens, who put up eight points and six rebounds. Alyvia Barkley was another key player, putting up seven points.

Hamilton/Warsaw's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for West Prairie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Hamilton/Warsaw didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 61-44 victory against Liberty on the 26th. As for West Prairie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-40 win against Mendon Unity on the 25th.
