The Lamar Texans won the last time they faced the Heights Bulldogs, and things went their way on Saturday too. Lamar walked away with a 56-46 win over Heights.
Despite the loss, Heights still got an impressive performance from Joseph Coleman, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Rockwell Henderson, who scored 13 points.
Lamar's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Heights, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lamar's road trip will continue as they head out to face Westbury at 1:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Heights, they will square off against Bellaire at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellaire will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
