 Skip Bawden made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  pitched 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Furthermore,  he didn't allow a single  walk, the first time  he has blanked an opponent since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.
 In other batting news, Snowflake got a  massive  performance out of  Jaxon Merrill, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  Merrill a new career-high in  RBI (three). Another player making a difference was  Aaden Coor, who  scored three  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Snowflake was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .571. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.

Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games.  Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snowflake will face off against Chinle at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Chinle is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5  runs per game  this season. As for St. Johns, they will look to defend their home field  on Saturday against Show Low  at 11:00  a.m.
